Happy Birthday Dan! We celebrated Dan's 29th birthday last week. I didn't get many pictures because our camera was acting strange, but I did manage to take a few of him and his cake. Weeks before his birthday both Hailey and I were asking him what kind of cake he wanted. He decided on a Peanut Butter and Jelly cake. Yep, you heard me.....PB&J cake! It was the weirdest thing I had ever heard of. Needless to say, I gave him exactly what he wanted. I made him a GIANT PB&J sandwich-with a twist. White cake as the bread, Raspberry preserves, and a peanut butter buttercream frosting-and surprisingly it was really good! I was a little worried to serve this to other people besides Dan and our girls....but everyone seemed to like it. We had a dinner of Dan's choice on the 22nd with my family...followed with opening gifts. We then went out to dinner later that week with Dan's side of the family and celebrated with them. We all had a great time, and Dan took a day off from work as well. It was a lot of fun. I hope you had a great birthday honey!!!

Adorable Pictures!
A couple of weeks ago we had pictures taken of the girls. I haven't been as good keeping up with yearly pictures, so here they finally are! These are only some of them-and it's so hard to choose because so many of them came out good! My friend Annaka took these pictures. She's amazingly talanted in many different areas, and NO surprise here, she's great at photography too! Thank you so much Annaka!! I love these pictures of my girls!! Thanks for making this the EASIEST picture experiance for us.

TAGGED: What makes me Happy
I think that all of our Answers are close to the same, sorry it took me so long to do the Tag.
Ok, now it's my turn to tag some people: I tag, Brynn, Steph, Stacie, Mom, Krissy, Annaka, Shianne, Carly, Casey, and Amber.
1. My Hubby-Dan
We can all say many things about our husbands.....so I'll just keep this short and simple. We have loads of fun, he always makes me laugh, he is the best to read books with because he can do ALL the voices you could ever think of, he's a good dad, he's patient, he's hard-working, he's religious, and very handsome on top of all of those other things!! I love you Dan!
2. My kids: Hailey, Whitney, and Baby Boy on the way. What can I say about kids? I sure do love mine, being a mom is the hardest job I've ever had....but the most fun! I love staying home with my kids and being there for all of those fun moments. They are SO funny, and I get a kick out of all that they do and say. I love to see the blossoming relationship between my girls, and look forward to what a little boy will bring to our family. They're hard to get here, but well worth it. I love you guys!!!!
3. My FamilyI have a great family...immediate and extended. I love living so close to my parents, it's so much fun to be able to go over all the time to their house. My in-laws live within 30 minutes too, along with my brother and sister in law-Stacie and Merrit (for now, they're moving in a few months to Ut-SO UNFAIR....wish you guys could stay). My Brother Jason and his family also live within a 5 minute drive from us-I love that my kids get to see their cousins. We also have extended family on Dan's side that live all over the Valley. We love getting to see them every other month or so. My extended family are mainly in the SLC area, I wish we all lived closer, but surprisingly....we see each other quite a bit! I love all of my family and am grateful that we have great memories together. I hope to have many more memories with them.
Sorry, I don't have pictures of EVERYONE....not to mention it would take a whole page!!4. Friends
I love my friends, they make me happy. My mom is my closest and BF, we have a blast together and get to hang out quite often-I love it! Brandie (my cousin) lives on the other side of the country-I wish she lived closer, we would hang out all the time and have our chocolate and pepsi together everyday. My Dad is also one of my close friends. With him home on disability...we've had an opportunity to spend a lot of time together over the last couple of years. It has been fun to get to know him better and have him around to do all of the fun stuff my mom and I do together. Brynn and Steph are HS friends that I still keep in touch with, Brynn lives in Colorado, so we don't see each other very much-but we still talk through email, blogs, and phone calls. Steph is living here in the Phoenix area for the next week or so-and then she'll be in NY. I wish we would have gotten together more often....but even though she'll be in NY-we'll probably talk and see each other as often as we do now!!! Stacie is my sister-in-law and friend. I have loved having her live close for the last year and a half. I'm so bummed that you're moving! I wish you could stay ( or possibly move back soon :)) so we could play. I'll miss you. There are many more people to name.....Julie, krissy, lizzie, friends from church, Aunts, grandparents, HS friends, ect-I love you all- you bring me such Joy!!
5. Eating/ Hobbies
I love to eat! I enjoy going out to new places and trying new things. I'm limited in my eating though...NO seafood, and limited pork. I also don't try anything wierd like bugs or odd body parts. Other than that I love to eat....it's brings me joy....and then to top it off with something sweet-even better. I'm not just saying this because I'm pregnant either-ask anyone who knows me! I don't have many hobbies right now-not enough time with kids, a house, primary calling, ect...ect..ect. I do enjoy anything that has to do with socializing. You all know I'm good at talking, and I love to do it! Give me a subject and let me go! I love to hang out with friends and family. One of my new joys is making cakes. I'm self-teaching right now, but maybe someday I can take some classes. I love creating and the satisfaction it brings when I'm finished. It's a little excape for me, and although it can be tiring and sometimes things don't turn out the way you wanted them to-you learn someting new each time.
Ok, now it's my turn to tag some people: I tag, Brynn, Steph, Stacie, Mom, Krissy, Annaka, Shianne, Carly, Casey, and Amber.

Yep, it's official. Hailey is now going potty on the toilet. She has only had a few accidents in a week....and is willing to go wherever and whenever! I NEVER thought this day would come!!
Oh the joy of only changing 1 childs messy diaper a day (at least for a few months until baby boy arrives)-what a treat! I'm so proud of her and all of her efforts to get here, I'm even happier that she was trained before she turned 4!
Hopefully our little Whitney will want to be like her sister and go potty on the toilet LONG before she's 3 1/2.
We are delighted and so excited for this new stage in Hailey's life, she's growing up. She's excited to go to preschool and to join in dance class....all of which she couldn't do until she was potty trained.
GREAT JOB HAILEY- WE LOVE YOU!
